I am currently sitting at my desk trying to drudge up enough motivation to finish this Hamlet essay that has been haunting me for weeks. Why is it that I know I have so much to do and yet I can never find the right amount of motivation to just sit down and actually write it? I get so easily distracted that I probably should not be watching Rachel Ray right now, nor should I have Facebook up and running while I'm trying to write. I have sat down and made a list of all the things I need to finish and accomplish in the next two weeks and I can feel my stress level rising the more I stare at it. ..well I'm not actually getting stressed because for some insane reason I'm incapable of feeling stressed, but I am definitely feeling overwhelmed! University has been one of the strangest experiences of my life this far, I've learnt so much but as the same time I cannot wait till it's finished.
I'm in my 4th year of my teaching degree and will be finishing my professional year next September. :) It's not far off and I know I need good marks to have any hope of getting into U of T or York University so I'm going to shut down Facebook, turn off Rachel Ray and start writing. Wish me luck people!

My Mission
So this is officially my first ever post, and I'm already at a loss for words. I want to use this as my place to reflect, comment, and just post memories. Memories about my life that I can look back and read whenever I feel the urge. It's hard to remember all the little things in life, but I feel that the little things can sometimes be the most important ones, so here it is, my chance to help preserve all those small memories otherwise lost. I hope this blog helps me to accomplish the difficult task of always living in the present. At the age of 21 it seems the future is never far from my mind but I have so much to live for currently I have to learn to appreciate what's currently around me instead of day dreaming about what might be. I'm sure there will be times when I tend to speculate about the future, but I have a big move coming up in the next few months or so, so it might be hard not to talk about it. One thing you will learn over the course of this blog though is how much I love and treasure my friends and family. I talk about them a lot, I will blog about them often and you will get to know them, trust me it's worth reading because they are some of the most amazing people I know and I can't imagine my life without them. Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
